Position: R&D Agricultural Scienctist (Chiang Mai)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced R&D Agricultural Science professional to lead and execute field research programs at our Chiang Mai Farm, serving as part of a global R&D network in an international FMCG environment. This role focuses on variety trialing, agronomy, and Ag-Tech innovation to advance crop performance, sustainability, and product quality for key crops such as potato and oat.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage field trial research and variety assessments in collaboration with global and local R&D teams.

  • Execute agronomy, breeding, and Ag-Tech research to support the company’s Global Agricultural Strategy and pep+ sustainability goals.

  • Analyze and report experimental data to drive innovation and continuous improvement in crop quality and yield.

  • Ensure compliance with plant patent regulations and secure handling of genetic materials.

  • Collaborate with growers, research partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver research excellence and business value.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Agriculture, Crop Science, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in agricultural R&D or field trial management

  • Experience with potato or cereal crops and sustainable agronomy practices preferred.

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with excellent command of English.

  • Proven ability to manage complex research projects and collaborate in a cross-functional, global team.
