As part of this evolution, we are exclusively supporting our client in the search for a Senior HR Business Partner, APAC, a newly created and pivotal leadership role within the regional People & Culture team.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Partnership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chief People Officer and senior leadership team, influencing the strategic direction of the regional people agenda.
- Act as a key business partner to APAC leaders, aligning HR strategies with business priorities to drive growth and performance.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to country HR teams, ensuring consistency, collaboration, and capability building across the region.
- Lead and oversee strategic HR programs and transformation initiatives that elevate organizational capability and operational excellence.
Talent & Organizational Development
- Partner with the Chief People Officer to design and execute long-term talent and succession strategies, ensuring leadership readiness for future growth.
- Drive organizational design, culture shaping, and workforce planning to enable business transformation and scalability.
- Champion leadership development and high-potential programs that build future-ready capabilities across APAC.
Employee Experience & Culture
- Build and sustain an inclusive, high-performance culture that embodies our company’s values and fosters engagement.
- Provide strategic guidance on complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair, transparent, and compliant outcomes.
- Leverage people analytics and insights to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance organizational health.
HR Governance & Regional Alignment
- Collaborate with global HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and country HR teams to ensure the seamless implementation of global policies, frameworks, and processes.
- Drive continuous improvement in HR operations, focusing on efficiency, governance, and scalability across markets.
- Represent the People & Culture function in regional leadership forums, ensuring alignment between global strategy and local execution.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- 12–18 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a regional or business partnering role across APAC.
- Proven track record in strategic HR business partnering, organization transformation, and leadership development.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate business strategy into people priorities.
- Deep understanding of diverse employment practices and labor landscapes across APAC markets.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior executives and drive alignment.
- Experience working in a complex, matrixed, or multinational organization.
