Responsibilities

The job holder is responsible for:

• Turning visions into concepts and translating those concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity despite system complexity.
• Utilizing industry design standards and best practices to define screen designs, design guidelines, and design specifications.
• Ensuring UI/UX and visual design communicates clearly, is on-brand, and delivers a positive user experience.
• Giving data meaning through information visualization.
• Contributing to the definition and creation of flexible, coherent design systems and component libraries.
• Partnering with technology, business, and project management teams to ensure projects meet creative, strategic, and delivery objectives.
• Presenting ideas clearly and effectively to team members and stakeholders.
• Working closely with development teams to manage the design process, drive decisions, track design issues, and ensure design specifications are properly implemented.
• Supporting design researchers in carrying out participatory and iterative design techniques, including observational studies, customer interviews, usability testing, and other forms of qualitative and quantitative research.
• Maintaining awareness of emerging industry developments and digital service trends to ensure product strategies remain aligned with evolving market standards.
• Collaborating and sharing knowledge with team members and stakeholders.
• Improving user interaction and interfaces within an accessibility framework.
• Promoting user-centered design principles and best practices within banking.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX Design.
• Ability to understand detailed and complex requirements and design elegant solutions for complicated processes.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas and solutions to stakeholders.
• Open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
• Passionate about UI/UX, design, and innovation.
• Proficient in UI/UX and interaction design, with a strong eye for branding, visual design, typography, and user interface design, alongside a solid understanding of user-centered design processes.
• Strong experience across desktop and native mobile app design.
• Proficiency in UI/UX tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, InVision, Flinto, Zeplin, and Figma.
• Experience in user research techniques and usability testing is a strong advantage.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to work within a Design System and propose concepts within defined constraints.
• Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders with conflicting priorities.
• Strong online portfolio available for review.
• Previous experience in the financial sector is preferred but not mandatory.
