My client is a global provider of insurance solutions and currently looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team in the Hong Kong office. This role will be focused on cultivating and managing digital partnerships to enhance our B2B and B2C channels for Accident and Health insurance with a focus on travel coverage, effectively expanding market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, negotiate, and establish strategic partnerships with digital platforms, travel agencies, airlines, and other relevant stakeholders to enhance our insurance offerings
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities within the travel insurance sector
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the B2B and B2C channels, focusing on increasing market share and revenue through innovative partnership solutions
  • Create and execute sales strategies aimed at achieving revenue targets and maximizing profitability for travel-related insurance products
  • Oversee the onboarding of new partners, ensuring a smooth integration process and adherence to underwriting guidelines and compliance requirements
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of partnerships and sales channels, providing regular reports and insights to senior management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership management within the insurance or travel industry
  • Proven track record of developing successful digital partnerships and growing B2B and B2C channels
  • Understanding of underwriting principles and processes, preferably within Accident and Health insurance (but not a must)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance tracking tools
