Manager / Assistant Manager, Data Analytics
Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a high-caliber Data Analytics professional to join our Retail Banking division. This role is designed for a technical expert who can bridge the gap between complex data management and business strategy. You will take full ownership of the end-to-end data lifecycle—from sophisticated Python-based modeling to deploying digital messaging strategies that enhance our customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Engineering & Analytics:
Leverage Python and SQL
as your primary tools to develop data solutions, perform complex analysis, and manage large-scale retail banking datasets.
- Digital Ecosystem Integration:
Drive the implementation and support of digital messaging technologies (e.g., SFMC, AEM), ensuring a seamless content development lifecycle from initial build to post-launch measurement.
- Business Intelligence & Reporting:
Utilize Tableau or QlikSense
to transform raw data into actionable insights, supporting high-stakes decision-making across Corporate and Regional offices.
- Process Automation:
Streamline reporting workflows, ensuring "zero-tolerance" for accuracy issues and manual errors; knowledge of SAS
or Pega
is a plus.
- Stakeholder Influence:
Act as a key consultant between Business, Operations, and Technology teams to translate complex data findings into effective customer service delivery strategies.
Requirements:
- Technical Core:
Solid Python and SQL programming experience is a must.
SAS programming experience is considered an advantage.
- Language Skills:
Fluency in Cantonese is a must
for effective communication with internal business and operations teams.
- Industry Expertise:
Essential experience within Retail Banking(Information and Data Management).
- Manager Level:
Minimum 5 years
of relevant experience.
- Assistant Manager Level:
Candidates with fewer than 5 years
of experience.
- Education:
University degree in Statistics, Data & Information Management, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Marketing Technology:
Practical understanding of digital messaging platforms (SFMC/AEM) and the end-to-end content development lifecycle.
- Mindset:
Highly detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced banking environment.
