Data Solutions Architect (Consulting Environment)

About the Role:

We are looking for a Data Solutions Architect with a solid foundation in data architecting from an end-to-end perspective. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end design, architecture, and delivery of scalable and secure data solutions for clients in the financial services and government sectors. You will work across multidisciplinary teams and be deeply involved in both technical execution and client advisory.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-grade data solutions across cloud environments.
• Drive end-to-end data architecture — from requirement gathering and data modeling to deployment and governance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, engineers, and consultants to align data strategy with business goals.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple client projects, ensuring quality, scalability, and best practices in data architecture.
• Develop and deliver solutions using Python, cloud services ( AWS or Azure), and modern data stack technologies.
• Define data standards, architecture patterns, and reusable frameworks for use across projects.
• Mentor junior team members and support practice development initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 8–15+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in data architecture roles.
• Strong background in consulting or professional services, with client-facing delivery experience.
• Proven expertise in architecting solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Deep hands-on experience with Python, and familiarity with data engineering tools (e.g., Spark, Airflow, DBT).
• Proficiency in data modeling, data warehousing, and building modern data pipelines.
• Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and security best practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills — comfortable engaging with both business and technical teams.
