Head of Data Technology

The Head of Data Technology leads the development and implementation of strategic data initiatives that drive business performance and innovation. This role oversees data platform development, advanced analytics, data product delivery, and supports new business opportunities by turning complex data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities;

• Define and lead the overall data strategy aligned with business goals, focusing on data science, analytics, and data-driven decision making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and prioritize data requirements, translating them into technical and operational plans
• Oversee data science and engineering teams to ensure timely, high-quality, and compliant deliverables
• Set and enforce coding, design, and documentation standards to maintain consistency and scalability
• Guide the design and implementation of analytics tools, platforms, and overall system architecture
• Manage relationships with vendors and lead contracting processes for data-related platforms and services
• Drive innovation in data science through the adoption of emerging technologies and best practices

Key Qualifications;

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field. An MBA is a plus
• 7+ years of experience working with large-scale, customer-centric data, applying machine learning, statistical modeling, and analytics across industries such as finance, telecom, retail, insurance, or e-commerce
• 3+ years of people management experience in a data or analytics environment
• Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks, predictive analytics, and modeling techniques
• Proficient in programming languages and tools such as Python, R, SQL, and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Hands-on experience across the full data pipeline, including data ingestion, processing, analysis, visualization, and deployment (MLOps)
• Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions
• Strong communication skills in both Thai and English
