Role Overview: As the Head of End User Computing, you will lead the global strategy, engineering, and support for our digital workplace environment. Managing a scale of 10,000 to 20,000 users, you will be responsible for ensuring that every employee—whether in a corporate office, a remote setting, or on a manufacturing floor —has a seamless, secure, and high-performing digital experience.
This is a critical leadership role focused on modernizing the "employee journey" through advanced Windows management, cloud-first productivity tools, and the development of a world-class global technical team.
Core Responsibilities
1. Global Strategic Leadership
Digital Workplace Roadmap: Define the multi-year strategy for EUC, transitioning from traditional device management to a modern, persona-based "Digital Employee Experience" (DEX).
Regional Integration: Lead and harmonize distributed teams across North America, EMEA, and APAC to ensure global consistency in service delivery while respecting local operational nuances.
Financial Management: Manage a multi-million dollar global budget, optimizing hardware lifecycle costs and software licensing (Microsoft 365, etc.).
2. Technical Environment & Modernization
Windows & Cloud Ecosystem: Oversee the global deployment and management of Windows 10/11 using modern management tools (Intune, Autopilot, Azure AD/Entra ID).
Virtualization & Cloud PC: Drive the strategy for cloud-based desktop solutions (AVD/Windows 365) to support high-mobility and high-security use cases.
Security Integration: Partner with Cybersecurity to implement Zero Trust principles at the endpoint level, ensuring robust encryption, patching, and identity management.
3. Talent & Succession Management
Organization Design: Build a resilient global organizational structure that balances centralized engineering with regional support excellence.
Succession Planning: Proactively identify and mentor high-potential talent within the EUC org to ensure leadership continuity and technical depth.
Culture of Excellence: Foster a "User-First" mentality within the team, moving the metric of success from "uptime" to "user satisfaction."
Key Requirements:
Experience: 12+ years in IT Infrastructure, with at least 5 years leading EUC for a global organization (10k+ users).
Technical Stack: Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Ecosystem: M365, Intune, SCCM, Azure/Entra ID, and Windows 11.
Regional Management: Proven track record of managing managers across different time zones, cultures, and labor markets.
Scale Expertise: Experience managing global hardware supply chains and large-scale OS migration programs.
Leadership: Strong focus on succession planning and developing technical career paths for team members.
