Our client is a global consumer goods organisation with a strong international footprint and a diversified portfolio across household, personal care, and consumer health categories. Operating across more than 100 markets, the company partners closely with distributors to drive sustainable growth and brand leadership.

The Head of Sales, North Asia is responsible for delivering double-digit sales and profit growth across North Asian markets through effective distributor management, new market development, and strong cross-functional collaboration. This role has full commercial ownership of the region, including sales strategy, P&L management, and market expansion.

Big Box / Warehouse Retail Expertise (Must-Have)

  • Demonstrated track record managing big box and warehouse retailers such as Costco, Walmart, Big C, Target, with the ability to leverage existing supplier relationships and further strengthen partnerships across modern trade channels.

Regional Commercial Leadership (North Asia, APAC)

  • End-to-end ownership of sales strategy and execution across North Asia, including distributor-led markets, new market development, and joint business planning to deliver sustained double-digit growth.

P&L Ownership & Commercial Acumen

  • Full responsibility for regional P&L, covering pricing, trade spend, forecasting, budgeting, and profitability optimisation. Strong capability in value chain analysis and trade ROI management is required.

Distributor & Stakeholder Management

  • Proven experience leading and scaling pre-existing distributor relationships, with structured performance governance, KPI management, and close collaboration with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Global Commercial teams.

Experience & Language Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in FMCG and/or Consumer Health within Sales, Commercial, or Key Account roles
  • Fluent English required; Mandarin and/or Korean highly advantageous
  • Comfortable operating in a matrixed, multicultural APAC environment with up to 40% travel
