About the role
As part of a forward-looking Human Resources team, you will be instrumental in building a dynamic, high-performing organisation by overseeing the full spectrum of HR operations. This includes talent acquisition, employee relations, and a key focus on talent acquisition. You will work closely with hiring managers, offering expert HR guidance and ensuring compliance with employment regulations and internal policies. The role also requires coordination with grants and finance teams to support the preparation of claims related to research funding, while contributing to broader HR transformation projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day HR operations in alignment with Singapore's Employment Act and institutional policies
- Driving full-cycle recruitment, salary benchmarking, onboarding, and employee engagement efforts
- Coaching hiring managers on effective hiring and performance management practices
- Optimising recruitment and onboarding processes using HR systems
- Facilitating performance appraisal cycles and contributing to talent development initiatives
- Coordinating with research and support teams for accurate and timely grant claim submissions
- Supporting diversity and inclusion efforts and participating in HR process improvement projects
- Generating recruitment metrics and reports to inform data-driven decisions
What we’ll like to see in you
You bring a solid foundation in Human Resources with a degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field, coupled with 6 years of relevant experience. You are confident in managing operational HR responsibilities and have at least 3 years of experience managing talent acquisition portfolio. You're proficient in using HR systems (i.e. SuccessFactors or Workday) and bring a sound understanding of Singapore's employment legislation. Analytical, detail-oriented, and resilient under pressure, you’re comfortable navigating both HR metrics and sensitive employee relations matters. Your excellent communication and stakeholder management skills allow you to collaborate effectively across departments, while your proactive mindset and strong sense of integrity ensure you handle challenges with professionalism and care.
