Overview

Our client is a leading financial services organisation and are looking for an Investment Operations Change Analyst to support change activities across investment portfolios and funds. The role will focus primarily on coordinating portfolio and fund name changes, working with external custodial partners and internal stakeholders to ensure affected records, references and communications are updated accurately. This is a hands-on coordination and change-delivery role suited to someone comfortable working across investment operations, external service providers and internal governance stakeholders within a controlled financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support change activities across General Account investment portfolios and ILP funds, including portfolio and fund name changes.
  • Coordinate with the organisation's custodian bank to facilitate required rename activities and confirm successful completion.
  • Work with relevant internal stakeholders to identify and align records, references and communications affected by the changes.
  • Track actions, dependencies and outstanding items through to completion.
  • Maintain appropriate approvals, confirmations and supporting documentation to provide a clear audit trail.
  • Ensure changes are implemented in a controlled manner and escalate risks, issues or dependencies where required.
  • Support broader change-delivery activities related to the assigned investment workstream.

Job Requirements

  • Relevant experience within financial services, ideally involving business change, investment operations, fund operations or a related operational environment.
  • Experience coordinating deliverables across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage actions, dependencies, approvals and supporting evidence.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when dealing with records, documentation and controlled changes.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with external service providers and internal governance or approval stakeholders.

Advantageous experience:

  • Exposure to investment portfolios, General Account investments or ILP funds.
  • Previous experience working with a custodian bank or similar investment servicing provider.
  • Experience supporting structured change or transformation initiatives within a regulated financial services organisation.
