Manager/Assistant Manager, Data Analytics (Individual Contributor)

JOB DESCRIPTION
Role Purpose
As a key individual contributor within the Data Analytics team, this role drives the end-to-end execution of data-driven customer communications and digital messaging campaigns. The successful candidate will sit within cross-functional delivery squads to bridge the gap between technical data workflows and business implementation—flawlessly executing campaigns while embedding modern analytics and AI-enabled capabilities into daily delivery.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Campaign Execution:
End-to-end delivery of digital messaging campaigns across eDM, SMS, MMS, and Push Notifications—from initial scoping and build through to launch and evaluation.
- Hands-on Analytics:
Perform data extraction, dataset cleaning, and audience segmentation for campaign lead generation and tracking.
- AI & Dashboarding:
Independently build Tableau/GCP dashboards to track conversion metrics, while embedding AI agents and RAG frameworks to optimize daily data workflows.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
Act as the core execution engine within cross-functional delivery squads, translating business needs into clean, accurate, and automated campaign outputs.
Role Requirements
- EXPERIENCE: 3–5 years
of hands-on experience in data analytics, data management, or CRM campaign execution within Retail Banking.
- LANGUAGES:
Trilingual spoken fluency in Cantonese, Putonghua, and English is strictly mandatory
for regular interaction with Group teams and entity stakeholders.
- CORE TECH:
Strong, standalone SQL and Python
skills + Tableau and/or GCP(must be able to clean datasets and build dashboards completely independently).
- AI CAPABILITY:
Hands-on project experience with AI APIs ,
RAG pipelines, and/or AI coding assistants to optimize and automate data workflows.
- COMMUNICATION:
Strong presentation skills with direct experience sharing data insights and campaign performance with business stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS & MARTECH SKILLS
- University degree in Statistics, Data/Information Management, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Solid understanding of digital messaging technologies and channel execution tools (such as SFMC, AEM, SAS, or Pega).
- Extremely detail-oriented with a zero-tolerance mindset for data quality or campaign accuracy issues.
