Our client is a cornerstone of Hong Kong’s financial ecosystem, operating high-availability systems that demand world-class security. They are looking for a Cyber Infrastructure Manager to lead their defensive posture, manage their SOC, and ensure the organization stays ahead of the evolving threat landscape.
Core Responsibilities
- Security Governance: Own and manage the organization’s overall cybersecurity posture, identifying adverse trends and initiating proactive mitigation strategies.
- Threat Intelligence: Build and oversee the end-to-end process for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating cyber threat intelligence.
- Strategic Resilience: Develop the firm’s long-term cyber resilience strategy, interpreting local regulatory requirements and implementing global best practices.
- SOC Leadership: Direct the Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring 24/7 monitoring and response capabilities are optimized.
- Technical Advisory: Act as an internal consultant for IT project teams, providing security architectural design advice and risk-based input.
- Simulation & Audits: Lead intelligence-led cyberattack simulations (Red Teaming) and manage relationships with both internal and external auditors for resilience assessments.
- Regulatory Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for industry regulators regarding cybersecurity standards and compliance reporting.
- Budgeting: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prepare and manage the annual cybersecurity budget.
Requirements
- Education: University degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years in Cybersecurity, Technology Risk, or IT Audit, ideally within a large financial institution or a regulated entity.
- Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO27001 and CSA STAR. Deep understanding of local financial regulatory frameworks (e.g., CFI 2.0 / TRM guidelines) is highly preferred.
- Technical Acumen: Broad knowledge of FinTech trends, data privacy laws, and modern security architecture.
- Certifications: Holder of professional credentials such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or CCSP is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and communicate risks to non-technical stakeholders.
- Languages: Fluency in Cantonese is a must. Excellent command of written and spoken English is required.
