Project Manager (Freelance, 3 Days Week, Service Contract)

Company / Role Overview

This role supports the delivery of a scoped cloud and infrastructure initiative within a structured and governance-driven environment. Working closely with senior delivery leads and technical teams, the Project Manager will focus on coordination, planning, reporting, and execution support across defined workstreams. The position is suited for an experienced project professional who is comfortable operating in a part-time capacity, contributing within clear boundaries, and ensuring delivery discipline in a regulated or public-sector-aligned setting.

Key Responsibilities

· Support project delivery across one or more infrastructure or cloud-related workstreams under defined scope.

· Coordinate activities between internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timelines and dependencies are tracked.

· Maintain project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and governance artefacts.

· Facilitate regular project meetings, working sessions, and progress updates.

· Track risks, issues, dependencies, and actions, escalating where appropriate.

· Ensure project documentation and delivery processes align with governance, compliance, and audit requirements.

· Support testing, UAT coordination, and transition activities where required.

Job Requirements

· Around 5–8 years of experience in IT project management or PMO roles.

· Experience supporting infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise technology projects (hands-on engineering not required).

· Comfortable working within structured, documentation-heavy, or regulated environments.

· Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.

· Strong stakeholder coordination, communication, and reporting skills.

· Prior exposure to public sector, government-linked, or regulated environments is preferred.
