Python Engineer (Contract)

This opportunity is with a technology-driven organisation focused on building next-generation AI-enabled platforms and applications. The role is suited for an early-career software engineer looking to gain hands-on experience across full-stack development, cloud-based systems, and emerging AI technologies. You will work in a collaborative, international environment alongside experienced engineers, contributing to both product development and internal engineering practices while being mentored on modern development frameworks and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of AI-powered platforms and internal applications
• Build and enhance frontend interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks and typed languages
• Develop backend services and APIs using Python-based frameworks
• Support implementation of AI/LLM-driven workflows using orchestration frameworks
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code under the guidance of senior team members
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and agile team ceremonies
• Improve internal tooling, documentation, and developer workflows
• Monitor, debug, and support cloud-based applications and services

Job Requirements

Must-Have:

• Strong foundation in software engineering concepts, including data structures and API design
• Experience with at least one programming language (preferably Python or TypeScript)
• Understanding of web development fundamentals and RESTful services
• Interest in AI technologies and their application in real-world products
• Ability to learn quickly, take feedback, and work collaboratively in a team setting
• Strong communication skills in a multicultural or international environment

Nice-to-Have:

• Exposure to modern frontend development frameworks
• Familiarity with Python web frameworks (e.g., FastAPI or similar)
• Awareness of AI/LLM orchestration tools
• Experience working with cloud platforms
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
