Quality Assurance (QA) Manager

Our client, a global beverage company, is seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead quality assurance activities across manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring that all products consistently meet quality and food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. The QA Manager will also champion a culture of quality, manage audits, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Management:
    • Implement, manage, and improve quality systems (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO, FSSC 22000).
    • Ensure compliance with internal quality procedures and external regulatory requirements.
    • Lead internal and external audits and manage non-conformance corrective actions.
  • Product Quality Oversight:
    • Ensure consistent product quality throughout the production lifecycle.
    • Review and approve quality documentation, specifications, and test results.
    • Investigate quality issues and customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Manage and mentor the QA team, providing training and performance feedback.
    • Coordinate daily QA operations and provide guidance to cross-functional teams.
    • Foster a strong culture of accountability and continuous learning within the team.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with production, maintenance, R&D, procurement, and supply chain teams to uphold quality standards.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on quality performance and KPIs.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Lead initiatives to improve quality performance, reduce waste, and optimize processes.
    • Use tools such as root cause analysis and CAPA to drive systematic improvements.
    • Support the implementation of new systems and technologies to enhance QA capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in quality assurance in the beverage or FMCG industry
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, GFSI schemes, HACCP, GMP, and relevant certifications.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Good command both Thai and English
