Data Analytics and CRM Manager (12 Months Contract) - Hong Kong
Our Client is looking for a Data Analytics and CRM Manager to join their Retail Banking and Wealth team. This role leads end-to-end delivery of customer communications—from scoping and build through to launch, optimization, and performance evaluation—working closely with business, data, analytics, and technology partners to drive measurable, while embedding a strong test-and-learn culture and making smart use of AI-enabled capabilities.
Principal responsibilities:
- Define and shape digital messaging propositions across legacy and new platforms, including (but not limited to) eDM, SMS, MMS, push notifications, and future channels/devices.
- Deliver best-in-class digital messaging campaigns, managing the full lifecycle: initial scoping with business teams, requirements definition, build and testing, deployment, post-implementation support, and ongoing measurement and evaluation.
- Act as a core member of delivery squads, partnering with business, analytics, data, design, and technology teams to bring together market understanding, insight, optimisation, testing, and execution excellence.
- Ensure flawless operational execution of value-added messaging, applying strong judgement and practical delivery discipline to message design, production, scheduling, and deployment at the right frequency and scale. Ensuring timely, high-quality outputs that meet business needs in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Partner with stakeholders on campaign lead generation and tracking, including hands-on analysis to monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion and customer outcomes.
- Translate business needs into insight-led actions, proactively identifying, sharing, and applying analytics-driven insights to improve targeting, content, and channel performance.
- Embed AI and advanced analytics into delivery, using modern data and communications toolkits to create innovative, insight-led solutions.
Requirements:
- University degree in Statistics, Data and Information Management, Mathematics, Computer Science or other related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ retail banking experience in information and data management.
- Proven, hands-on experience across the end-to-end campaign development lifecycle, including post-implementation support and measurement.
- Solid understanding of digital messaging technologies and channel execution.
- Preferred experience with Python, BigQuery, Tableau, and/or Pega.
- Strong problem-solving skills, able to diagnose issues and translate them into clear actions and recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across business, operations, and technology teams.
- Strong sense of ownership and customer driven mindset, ensuring efficient and effective customer communication and service delivery.
- Demonstrated self-starter mindset with a track record of driving change and promoting a speak-up culture.
- Highly detail-oriented with zero tolerance for quality/accuracy issues.
