Senior Quality Manager (Food and beverage)

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Quality Manager for our client, a leading global FMCG company. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with Quality and Food Safety requirements across all products, processes, and services. The successful candidate will champion a quality-centric culture across the organization and provide strong leadership to the Quality Assurance team while driving continuous improvement and maintaining world-class quality standards.

Job Purpose:

  • Ensure compliance with Quality and Food Safety requirements in all products, processes, and services.
  • Promote a culture of quality within all functions across the business.
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Quality Assurance team.
  • Drive continuous improvement and excellence in quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Compliance & Food Safety:
    • Ensure all products meet regulatory, corporate, and customer quality and food safety standards.
    • Maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO, and other relevant quality and food safety certifications.
    • Lead preparation for audits and manage relationships with regulatory authorities and certification bodies.
  • Quality Leadership & Culture:
    • Promote a culture of quality throughout the business.
    • Lead cross-functional initiatives to embed quality practices and awareness in all departments.
    • Support training and development programs to elevate quality understanding and ownership.
  • Strategic Quality Management:
    • Develop and implement quality strategies and KPIs aligned with business objectives.
    • Monitor performance trends and proactively implement corrective and preventive actions.
    • Lead risk assessments and ensure robust quality controls are in place.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Lead and mentor the Quality Assurance team to ensure high performance and engagement.
    • Define clear roles, responsibilities, and development plans for team members.
    • Foster a collaborative and accountable team environment.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to optimize quality systems, processes, and tools.
    • Utilize root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to address quality issues.
    • Collaborate with manufacturing, R&D, supply chain, and commercial teams to ensure end-to-end quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of quality experience in food and beverage manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.
  • Experience with GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, FSSC 22000, and regulatory audit preparedness.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Good command both Thai and English
