Senior Tableau & Data Visualization Consultant / $50-55k P/M

Duration: 12 month extendable contract
Salary: Up to HKD 55,000 per month
Availability: Immediate to two weeks’ notice preferred

We are looking for a hands-on Tableau specialist to support the design and delivery of visually engaging, user-friendly dashboards for a leading organisation in Hong Kong.

The successful candidate will take ownership of both the front-end visualization and underlying data preparation, working with limited direction to turn ambiguous requirements into polished reporting solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality Tableau dashboards with a strong focus on visual presentation, usability and user experience
• Translate broad or unclear business requirements into effective dashboard designs
• Perform data extraction, transformation and preparation using SQL
• Provide recommendations and challenge existing ideas where appropriate
• Work independently while engaging effectively with business and technical stakeholders
• Present solutions clearly and communicate design decisions confidently

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on Tableau development experience
• Excellent data visualization and dashboard design skills
• Solid SQL and ETL experience
• Ability to work independently with ambiguous requirements
• Consultative mindset with the confidence to bring your own ideas and recommendations
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Cantonese is beneficial but not essential
