A Solutions Architect
in this space bridges the gap between complex business problems and high-scale technical execution. You aren't just designing "an app"; you are designing an ecosystem where security, scalability, and user experience converge—especially within the regulated landscape of Financial Services (FSI).
Your primary focus is ensuring that consumer-facing tools—like AI-driven chatbots and mobile banking interfaces—are robust, compliant, and seamlessly integrated with legacy core banking systems.
Key Responsibilities
System Design & Integration:
Design end-to-end architectures for cloud-native consumer applications, ensuring seamless data flow between front-end platforms and back-end microservices.
Conversational AI Strategy:
Architect scalable chatbot and Virtual Assistant solutions, focusing on Natural Language Processing (NLP) integration, session management, and hand-offs to live agents.
Cloud Governance:
Lead the transition to (or optimization of) AWS, Azure, or GCP environments, prioritizing high availability and disaster recovery.
Security & Compliance:
Ensure all solutions adhere to FSI standards such as PCI-DSS, SOC2, and GDPR/CCPA. You will be the gatekeeper for data encryption and identity management (OAuth2, OIDC).
Stakeholder Management:
Act as the technical translator between Product Managers, Security Officers, and Engineering teams to ensure the roadmap is technically feasible.
Technical Requirements
Cloud Platforms:
Expert-level knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP (Serverless, Kubernetes, API Gateways).
Consumer Tech:
Experience with React/Next.js, Mobile SDKs, and WebSockets for real-time engagement.
AI/Automation:
Familiarity with LLM orchestration (LangChain), Amazon Lex, or Google Dialogflow.
Data & APIs:
Deep understanding of REST, GraphQL, and Event-Driven Architecture (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
Fintech Domain:
Knowledge of Core Banking Systems, Payment Gateways, or Ledger Management.
