Job Summary
The Sustainability Lead
is responsible for developing and driving the company’s sustainability strategy across FMCG manufacturing operations. This role leads environmental and social responsibility initiatives, with a strong focus on recycling, circular economy projects, and waste reduction programs, ensuring alignment with corporate ESG goals and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sustainability Strategy Development
- Develop and implement the company’s sustainability roadmap, including clear targets on waste reduction, recycling rate improvement, and circular economy initiatives.
- Define KPIs for carbon reduction, water stewardship, and recycling performance.
- Translate sustainability commitments into actionable operational projects within manufacturing sites.
- Monitor and report sustainability performance to senior leadership.
2. Environmental Management & Recycling Projects
- Lead and implement recycling and circular economy projects, including:
- Packaging recyclability improvement
- Waste segregation and on-site recycling systems
- Collaboration with external recycling partners
- Drive reduction of landfill waste through waste-to-value initiatives.
- Develop programs to increase recycling rates across manufacturing and distribution operations.
- Lead initiatives related to:
- Carbon footprint reduction
- Energy efficiency and renewable energy adoption
- Water management and wastewater reduction
3. Social Responsibility
4. Cross-functional Leadership
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build awareness & support for a sustainability perspective.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience
in sustainability, environmental management, or ESG within FMCG manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and ESG frameworks.
- Good command both Thai and English
