UAT Tester – Commercial Banking & Digital Platforms
12-month contract | Up to HKD 80,000 per month

We are seeking an experienced UAT Tester to support changes and enhancements across commercial lending and digital banking platforms.

This role requires strong hands-on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) experience and the ability to communicate effectively in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, alongside reading proficiency in Traditional and Simplified Chinese.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute UAT test cases for commercial lending and business internet banking platforms, covering desktop, mobile, online application portals and WeChat.

  • Contribute to test strategies and plans for functional releases, ensuring coverage of business requirements and acceptance criteria.

  • Log test results, raise and track defects, and work with business stakeholders, IT teams and external vendors to prioritise and resolve issues.

  • Participate in UAT review meetings and provide daily and weekly progress updates.

  • Prepare UAT sign-off documentation and maintain testing evidence, including screenshots and test records.

  • Support testing of production incident fixes and release verification, including occasional weekend or late-night work during releases.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a UAT Tester or Test Lead role, with practical experience preparing test cases, executing UAT, managing defects and supporting sign-off.

  • Strong written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin, with the ability to explain business and technical issues clearly.

  • Ability to read both Traditional and Simplified Chinese.

  • Experience testing banking products and digital platforms; commercial lending and business internet banking knowledge would be advantageous.

  • Familiarity with Agile delivery and the testing lifecycle.

  • Strong stakeholder coordination, organisation and prioritisation skills.

  • A degree in a relevant discipline.

  • Flexibility to support occasional out-of-hours testing during production releases.
