UX & Product Design Lead / Perm / $70-75k P/M

About the Role

We are hiring an exceptional UX & Product Design Lead on behalf of our global client – a renowned organisation undertaking the design and development of a large-scale internal enterprise system supporting thousands of users worldwide.

As the Design Lead, you will shape the user experience and visual language of a critical internal platform used across multiple business functions. You’ll work alongside cross-functional teams, engaging with senior stakeholders, product managers, engineers, and user researchers to drive a design-first approach across the program.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end UX and Product Design process for a multi-user, enterprise-grade system
• Manage a small team of designers, overseeing project delivery, resource planning, and mentoring
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure alignment on design execution
• Represent the design function in executive stakeholder meetings, presenting concepts, design strategy, and progress updates
• Translate complex workflows into elegant and intuitive interfaces
• Establish and maintain design systems, UI guidelines, and scalable components

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a UX and Product Design Lead on enterprise-scale systems or platforms
• Strong stakeholder management experience – confident presenting to senior business and technical leaders
• Hands-on expertise with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar
• Familiarity with front-end technologies – HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript – to facilitate seamless handoffs and collaboration with dev teams
• Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
