My client is a Tier-1 Bank with well-established investment banking and private banking businesses. They are looking for a Team Head of Client Onboarding and Life Cycle Management across APAC for investment banking and private banking.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance the existing risk and control framework, including one-bank coordination and oversight

  • Manage the control aspects of regulatory enquiries and exams

  • Provide inputs to the annual risk and control assessments, review and validation of risk events

  • Support the operational implementations of policy and regulatory changes

  • Oversee issues and action plans including root cause analysis

  • Provide control inputs to Run-the-Bank projects as needed

  • Ensure the correct governance and oversight on business expansions and setting up the control infrastructure for APAC Compliance Operations

  • Perform read across to other processes and controls based on gaps identified to proactively address issues in the region

Requirements

  • Degree holder with over 8 years of experience in private banking/ investment banking.

  • Experience in Compliance or Risk Oversight and Controls, internal audit, monitoring and testing or assurance role is preferred.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good command of written and spoken English.
