Our client is the market leader in trading agricultural goods, procuring and distributing agricultural raw materials to processors throughout the world. With the business expansion, they are actively looking for Head of Strategic Risk and Compliance who experienced in setting up the team and will be responsible for managing all aspects of risk to the organization, assets, reputation, and interests of stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

· Report directly to the CEO, work in partnership with the leadership team in each department in the organization to ensure senior management remain informed of regulatory, legislative and best practice changes and how the change impact the business in big picture

· Work in partnership with key stakeholders to understand the business requirement and develop effective working relationships during implementation and ensure business as usual ownership is understood by management

· Design and lead risk management strategy, and implement effective risk management process to the organization

· Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations while taking a commercial and practical approach to risk-based challenges as well as provide appropriate solutions

· Support management in the maintenance of effective controls and risk management

· Provide support, education and training to staff to build risk awareness in the organization

· Communicate and educate the internal policies, external laws and regulation to related internal department to ensure the compliance of such policies and regulations

Desired Skills & Experience

· Degree qualified in any related field (graduated in law would be advantage)

· At least 15 years of experience in Risk & Compliance

· Have a good understanding in law, especially for PDPA

· Experience in new setup team would be advantage

· Logical thinking with excellent in communication skill

· A healthy balance of big picture theory, best-practices, and strategy as well as the ability to roll up the sleeves and execute

· Empathic leader with an inherent ability to put themselves in others' shoes

· Experience implementing leadership, teamwork and culture trainings

· Excellent in Communication skills both Thai & English language

· Must be able to travel both upcountry and abroad
