My client is a globally well renowned law firm who are looking for an IT Support Team Lead. The role will be to look after the entire IT Support department and run a team of 3 people. You will be dealing with everyone across the firm, support them, desktop support, presentations, raining, incident investigations etc.
Day to day
- Manage all aspects of IT support in HK
- Manage a team of 3 people and report into the APAC Head of IT
- Support continuous improvement and set a solid example
- Relationship Management with end-users
- Provide escalation point for all issues
- Work with the APAC Head of IT in hiring, training, counselling, and disciplining departmental employees. Generate performance evaluations for departmental employees.
- Manage, train, and coach the HK IT teams; lead them in their professional and career development
- 1st and 2nd line support for applications, desktops, laptops, phones and mobiles etc
- Investigate high impact incidents/problems
Key Skills needed to succeed
- IT Support experience (6+ years is ideal)
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications support
- Experience leading a team
- English (spoken and written) is essential, Cantonese and Mandarin are very helpful
- Senior Stakeholder management
- ITIL Experience
