Job Description

Working location: Long An province

The Production Planning Control Manager is reporting directly to Operation Manager and is responsible for the followings:

  • Oversee production planning and management activities within the organization.
  • Develop production plan, budget and timelines according to production specifications.
  • Determine production requirements based on plant capacity and production specifications.
  • Determine equipment, materials and workforce required to complete production.
  • Plan workflow and schedules for production departments.
  • Monitor production status and ensure timely delivery.
  • Assist in production risk assessment and mitigation activities.
  • Identify delays causes and notify customers on any delays and outages.
  • Evaluate current production processes and recommend improvements.
  • Conduct daily meetings to keep track of production schedules.
  • Ensure that finished products meet quality standards and customer specifications with excellent customer service
  • Resolve production issues and escalate unresolved issues to management promptly.
  • Attract, retain and develop high potential talent.
  • Responsible for training and development of subordinate staff, estimating personnel needs
  • Maintain all timekeeping, overtime and vacation records and schedules.

The successful applicant

The successful candidates will possess Bachelor's degree in Industry Management, Engineering, Economy, Foreign Trade, or related fields, with adept experience and direct involvement with production planning and supply chain planning. Additionally, knowledge and experience in Sale and Operations Planning (S&OP), MRP (Manufacturing Resources Planning) , Lean Manufacturing and Total Quality Management is greatly preferred.

They should also acquire high level of endurance, cultural sensitivity, adaptability and demonstrate a proactive thinker with attention to detail in a fast-paced, global team environment, through excellent interpersonal and communications skills, high level of integrity, transparency.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving, excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skill, Good Inter-functional business understanding, and strong leadership quality are also essential to this position.

Proficient English is the must.
