Responsibilities:
- Initiate Business strategy for sub-regional level and also provide guideline and objectives to the sub-regional
- Directs sub-regional controlling and accounting to ensure that financial transactions, policies, and procedures meet the organization's short and long-term business objectives and are conducted in accordance with regulations standards
- Defines financial goals and monitors their implementation at the sub-regional level and ensures that a red flag system is in place to report problems in a timely manner
- Develops long term financial planning for the sub-region
- Approves all investments in the sub-region within delegated authority limits
- Ensures accurate, transparent, relevant and timely management reporting to division and executive board, including financial and operational data
- Approves the monthly IFRS financial statement and ensures fulfilment of any IFRS / statutory / legal requirements
- Signing authority within Power of Attorney or assigned legal entity director responsibilities
- Evaluates investment and acquisition business cases and co-ordinates the review and approval process in compliance with the company policy
- Ensures that the planning, budgeting and forecasting process complies with overall financial policies and procedures to support the achievement of strategic targets
- Maintains relationships and provides financial expertise to management board and top-level experts in the organization as well as partnering business units and regional Centers of Competence
- Takes appropriate measures to remedy financial risk and coordinates risk management per Group guideline
- Ensures proper billing and cash collection processes are in place in the sub-region
Qualifications:
- Experienced in MNC, Global, Regional and Shared service structure is a plus
- Minimum 10-15 years experience in various general finance functions accompanied by a wide experience at senior level in a service-oriented business
- Manages and leads teams through management experience across several areas within the finance function
- Experience working with SAP FI/CO/SD/MM and group level reporting tools (Hyperion, BusinessObjects, TM1) essential
- Experience with top 5 audit or consulting firms a significant advantage
- Cross-cultural working experience
